"Not yet," he said, "but we haven't had much of a chance to try."

Amy, one hand still clutching the now empty bottle, had literally fallen asleep on Lilly's bedroom floor, her hair in her face and her fluffy quilt a nest around her as she dozed.

"You can't just live on chance alone," John pointed out. "Statistics are never guarenteed," yet another lesson he had learned the hard way.

she sighed slightly but gave a small smile, she knew it wasn't chance, she knew that the serum would help her rest, and when she woke up she would feel better.
"You seem to have had a hard time of it?"

Lucas had put his stuff in his room, the one that Aubri and the man named Logan chose for him. Curiosity go the best of him and he carried his teddy bear Booey with him hoping it would calm the nerves in his stomach.
He wandered the halls for bit looking for the kitchen. Hunger was calling him. He made a left passed a group of teens that were chatting in their rooms.
He upon three people in that were conversing.
"Um excuse me, do ya know where the kitchen is here?" he asked.

John turned to face the boy standing in the doorway. "Down that hallway," he said pointing. He stood up, "I can show you if you like."

Amy, having woken to the sound of John and Lilly talking, and feeling much, much better, sat up and stretched her arms over her head. ah, a ten minute catnap did wonders. Light green-ey gaze falling on the boy at the doorway with the teddy bear, she climbed to her feet on creaky knees, pulling her blanket around her. "I'm going down there. I could come, too, if... You know... No one would mind."

Lucas looked at the girl named Amy and the tall grown up named John. They seem very friendly. It as quite a change from living in Budford, South Carolina with a religious zealot for a grandmother. The five year old boy gained the confidence to introduce myself.
"Sure, Let's all go! Mah name is Lucas by the way. And this is mah best friend Booey," said Lucas holding up his worn out teddy bear. "Ya folks are really nice!"

"Well, I'm John," he said, standing (I think he was still on the floor... if not disregard that...). He managed to resist the urge to tell Lucas the percentage of children that have a comfort object like Booey - 78%* - but rather was able to spout out the relevant fact of, "The kitchen's this way," and start leading them down the hall.
*Couldn't find it, still looking though
