Lilly flopped down on the bed in the wide room adn stared at the cheerless walls. "We can fix that" she said to her cat Leapsín who sunned himslef on her trunk by the window.
Shooing him off the trunk she pulled out a large colourfull quilt which had belonged to he previous foster mother, it was covered in large gold pentacles and beautifully strange symbols.
The bedside table gained the addition of a small silver music box.
"Much better!" she said satisfied as she sat beside Leapsín and scratched the top of his head while he purred contentidly.
She removed a book from her bag and flicked through the pages to find her place before settling in to read with Leapshin on her belly.

Amy, extremely tired and looking quite pale, stumbled down the hallway with a blanket around her shoulders. Coughing slightly she winced. Okay, she was midly invulnerable, but she could get a cold? Shaking her head, gaze on the ground she opened her bedroom door. Opened might not have been the right word, as the hinges cracked and the entire door broke off. "Oh, darnit!" She hissed, backing into her room and setting the door against the doorframe. Except... Turning around, her eyes widend as she saw the girl and her cat on the bed. Oh dear. "Eep... This isn't my room, is it?" A firey blush crept across her face.

Lilly looked up from her prone position, "Are you OK?" she asked, "You look a little...pale?"
Leapshin mewed and moved to the bottom corner of the bed nearest the door to get a better look at the new person.

Amy nodded, coughing slightly. "Yeah, I'm fine. Er, sorry about your door..." She gestured behind her. "I'm sorta getting used to my powers still.... Waitaminute, you're new, aren't you? Well, I'm Amy, what's your name?" She seemed to temporarily forget she was in her pajamas and a blanket, hair messed from sleep, and gave her a large smile.

"Lilly De Winter" She answered and scopped Leapshin up in her arms, "and this is Leapshin"
The cat gave a disgrunteled mew at being lifted like a baby.
"And yes were new here"

John peeked his head through the door, "I thought I heard voices. At least this time it's good to see they're not in my head." He smiled at Lilly, "Hi."

Lilly grinned back, "Hi" Leapshin gave another disgruntled mew and looked decided foolish in his position and told her so.
"alright alright here you go" she said putting him down on the bed spread were he regarded the new comer.

"My name's John," he said still smiling. Inside, John was resisting the urge to spout out everything he knew about cats, which was in essence everything there is to know about cats. He knew from experiance that the first time you meet some one it's best not to spit random, semi-relevant facts at them... It tended to be off-putting.

"I noticed." He stared at her for a while, slowly processing what he saw.

Amy, who had temporarily been forgotten in one corner of the room, suddenly burst into a coughing fit, interupting John and Lilly's converastion and endin up sitting on the floor with a pained look on her face. "Gawd, that's so embaressing. Sorry." She said quietly, rubbing her eye with the back of her hand. "Nevermind me, go on. I think I'll just lay down and die." And she did, her blanket pulled around her again, flat on Lilly's floor.
