Lori stepped carefully from her back window, setting her bare feet onto the windowsill. pulling herself up with long slender arms, she managed to swing herself up onto the roof, the shingles still holding the heat of the sun from earlier in the day. it was almost dark now--the sun was just about finished setting under the horizion. She made her way over towards the front of the house, her scarf wrapped tightly around her white hair, her jeans clinging to her legs as she moved delicately, but not in the least bit gracefully, over the rises and falls of the Xavier institute's roof. finally reaching her desired spot, she plopped down, and watched the remainder of the sun sink below the cityscape below.

The wind shifted above the roof as Ororo levitated herself upon the shingles, her arms extended out at her sides, and he palms facing he sky, her eyes white, to investigate the figure she had seen from below. She wore a black outfit, as usual to contrast her hair, and a long black cape with golden seams, which attatched itself to each middle finger. She walked along the top of the roof, her eyes returning to normal, until she stood behind the girl. "May I ask why you are up here?"

Lori looked up at the white haired woman with a shy smile. "Watching the stars." she replied quietly and hugged her knees. She continued staring at the stars. "What are you doing may i ask?" she turned her gaze from the diamond-like stars onto the dark woman.

Ororo turned around looking up at the sky, and sat beside the young girl. "Well I noticed you from the grounds, I came to see if all was alright, I know alot can weigh on a young mind," she explained. She paused for a moment as the wind passed over them then asked, "So tell me, what do I call you?"

Lori continued staring at the stars, lying on her back after a moment to close her eyes. "Lori." She explained. "Or Loreley, whatever you like." she brushed away a strand white hair--so much like that of Storm's, and let the wind blow over her--carrying with it bits of rain as the evenening storm began to grow.

Storm lifted her face to the cooling wind and smiled, "It appears it is going to rain doesn't it?" She paused and looked at the young girl, "Well Loreley, what exactly brought you here to the insitute?"
