Name: Virgil Drasel
Aliases: <Has none, sometimes goes by the nickname Virg or V>
EMail: TonyAsher@gmail.com
Affiliation: <Has no specific ties>
Age: 21
Appearance: Virgil stands a tall six foot, four inches off of the ground, normally towering above others, but when hanging around sketchy crowds, finding himself dwarfed or at the very least matched by people of equal height. He's no pretty-boy, in fact he's quite overweight, although he still works hard to ensure his muscles are toned, the large stomach not to be mistaken for a beer gut. His hair is dark brown, and has a length down just past his back, usually braided or tied back with rubber bands. He has dark green eyes and wears a pair of silver thin-framed glasses. He has a tattoo on the side of his right arm, a black tribal design with his last name etched in the center in a vibrant green and yellow gradient. His left arm harbors a very large tattoo of a blue dragon, extending from near his elbow all the way up to his shoulders. On most occasions, these tattoos will be visible due to Virgil's very casual apprearance, rarely wearing long sleeved or even sleeved shirts at all. He usually wears a pair of plain colored slacks, sometimes with cargo pockets on the side. His shoes are dark black and are fairly larger than normal, stretching up to a size eighteen.
Personality: Virgil is quite often very hard to socialize with when he first meets a person, but gradually warms up to them after a while. In situations where he's in larger groups, mostly filled with people he knows, he tends to open up and be a bit more forward with people, joking and goofing around, even with total strangers. There are many times, though, when he simply grows eerily quiet, not really conversing, and not really sounding like he wants to have conversation when someone tries to start one and he responds. He can be quite shy and often embarrasses easy, often seen with a red face after speaking out or simply saying something he felt was stupid. It's very hard to get him angry, although when angry, his ability to focus on whatever is angering him increases drastically, as opposed to being thrown off like most would think when someone is flustered. An example is in an argument where someone on the other side is being simply outrageous with their side of the story, if he is angered he could more than likely fight through his point in the argument much more clearly than if he were calm.
Powers: Virgil's powers are actually quite new, and only recently began to manifest. He's constantly learning new things of what he can do, but it's very clear he can manipulate elements. Although often viewed as being a base of elements such as fire, lightning, and things of that sort, his control over the elements is quite literal, opening up an entire periodic table he could potentially use. Large scale use of his powers actually require that the elements he is attempting to use are in the vicinity, so trying to conjure up a tidal wave or something ridiculous in the middle of a barren desert wouldn't work, while doing such near a river would be a plausible situation. On a smaller scale, he can actually create elements seemingly from thin air, so in the aforementioned conjuring up water in a barren desert, while he couldn't get a rainstorm, he could most likely get a canteen full of water over a short period of time. His abilities are mostly used for survival, able to shift his terrain to his liking to create a crude structure from soil.
On top of his elemental control, Virgil is a very durable individual, being very hard to bruise and cut. His injuries heal quickly, things such as a broken bone taking mere days to fix, pending on the severity. In cases where a bone is broken or a muscle is ripped, his body automatically sets the injured area to a position that is prime for healing, so even a broken bone sticking out of his arm would slide back into position, and assuming he kept his arm in proper place, it would heal on it's own with due time.
Any other powers Virgil may have are completely unknown to him, though he believes that anything he could currently do beyond his normal level would simply be an expansion on his current abilities, rather than something new.
History: Virgil's history isn't drastic or related to some large event that gave him his powers, but rather he's your average guy, living at home with his parents and working his way through college, unable to afford the payments required to get a dorm, but living very close to campus. When he was growing up, he befriended anyone who could tolerate his distant nature and fake "lone wolf" attitude, which was simply passed to cover up his shyness. Most of his friends are much more outgoing than he is, but tend to try and push him into doing things he initially is either no good at, or is too scared to attempt, such as pushing him out on a dance floor when he claims to hate dancing.
He graduated high school with mediocre grades, his college career being much more interesting and allowing him to not only improve his grades, but vastly expand his knowledge. Around the time his powers began to develop and become more known, he began hiding them, figuring it was going to be one more thing that set him off from the crowd and would make him even harder to get along with, although the few that do know about his powers tend to not speak much of it, nor do they really see it as making him any different than one of the group, although from time to time when in private they ask him to do silly tricks with his abilities, often times Virgil obliging often with amusing results, but on rare occasions ending up in a small disaster. He tends to go about his way with keeping up in class and working in his seemingly dead end delivery job, having a quite boring life, but often meeting up with some interesting individuals that show he's not the only one that can demonstrate... unnatural abilities.
