The sun was cheerily streaming into Travis's bedroom, much to his great displeasure. He had forgotten to close the blinds last night and the light was interefering with his sleep. With a mumbled sound he pulled the heavy white comforter over his head and seemingly went back to sleep.

John got up from the couch and walked around the apartment, scanning over the decor, pausing momentarilly at the window to stare outside at the sunny day that'd started without him.
John started to gather his things. He'd probably over stayed his welcome and figured it'd be best just to slip out.

It was just no use, the sun was a fierce, fierce opponent and refused to let him drift off again. With a groan he pushed back the covers and stretched the kinks out of his back. Pushing the hair out of his face he padded out the door, through the hallway, past JD and into the kitchen. He automatically went to the coffee maker and flipped it on, then got out two mugs. "How do you like your coffee?" he called behind him, yawning as he did.

John stopped in his tracks, half his things already in hand and in the middle of putting on a shoe. "....Coffee?"

"Yes, coffee, you know that thing that makes it so you don't crash when you drive a car?" Travis said, sleepily padding over to the fridge, looking in and squinting at the contents. "Jesus, I really do have only breakfast stuff, how did that happen? I don't even remember buying half of this crap" he said as he pulled out a carton of milk and sniffed at it suspiciously.

"I-I was uh... just leaving," John stumbled, slightly, not being able to keep his balance on one foot for too long of a time.

Travis blinked, "Well if you want to I guess you can," he set the milk on the counter and then walked over to the kitchen's enterence, leaning on it and eyeing JD critcally. "But you really don't have to."

"It just seems odd... I wouldn't want to be any more of a burden that I already am. You didn't really have to bring me home with you in the first place."

Travis shrugged, "It was no biggie, really. Besides my momma would kick my ass if I left you like that." he winked at John and then yawned again. "Seriously though, it was no trouble, especially since I got to drive that car of yours."

John chuckled slightly as he fiddled with his other shoe, then wandered towards to kitchen. "I still can't help but feel a little bit guilty."

"Don't" Travis said as he turned around and walked back into the kitchen, "All you did was crash at my place, I'm telling you it's not a big deal."

"It's more what lead to the crashing that I feel guilty about..."

"What? You getitng a massive headache," Travis turned around so he could give JD a incredulous look. "Because that was completely your fault."

"I suppose not. But, you probably deserved a bigger heads up."

Travis shook his head, "You just won't give up will you?" he said flashing a grin at John before walking over to the fridge and peering in it again. "Alright so, we've got... eggs, bacon, sausage, other things that have a vaguely breakfasty feel to them." he said as he rooted through the fridge. "What do you feel like for breakfast?"
