"Flaws are what make us who we are. ..... No amount of optimism and choice words will save you when they come, and I don't doubt for a moment they'll come for us all, sooner or later. " he said, half to himself.

Ciarda turned as he spoke and nodded, he wasn't ignorant like other people who had argued with her. He had a reasoning behind his words, and it seemed, a fair deal of intelligence. She couldn't help but smile slightly.
"Want to go get a coffee?"

".... If I could substitute a hot chocolate for the coffee." he replied, a little surprised at her quick moodswing

"Oh don't look so surprised. You gave me a very intelligent side of the arguement so I can not hate you for that. If your side of the arguement was a half assed excuse, then I would have left. I don't like dealing with shallow minded idiots. As for the hot chocolate, that's fine. I know a little shop not far from here that has wonderful hot chocolate." She said. She always loved a good arguement.

Sean's brow creased in mild confusion. "you're an odd one.... " he said as gestured for her to lead the way.

"Aren't we all?"
She led him down the street in silence for a few minutes before speaking again, "So, Sean. What is it that you do?" She asked curiously.

"Well, nothing for the moment, I just moved here. I used to be a bodyguard.... but yeah... " he said, awkwardly near the end,

Ciarda nodded, "Well, what made you choose this city?"
Ciarda was surprising herself. She normally didn't talk this much, ask this many questions, or feel so comfortable around another person. I guess haveing someone save your life will do that to you... She thought to herself. That, and the fact that he wasn't 'Normal' either seemed to help. She had never met a person who had abilities other than herself. The world was just full of surprises.

"I'd heard somewhere that this was the place to go for mutants" he said this last word, while looking at her, seeing if she'd dislike him using it.

Ciarda tried her best not to show her distaste for the word, "I've heard of it, but I don't know where it is. Frankly, I don't really want to know where it is. Just because there are others like us there, doesn't always make it the best place to go." She said with a shrug.

"I figured that if there're so many, I'd be not so out of the ordinary when I used my powers."

Ciarda shrugged, "Maybe. I'm not too sure on that though. I've only ever used my powers on purpose once or twice. Other times, it's an accident. I used to think I was just crazy, I learned to live with it."

"People tend to remember bolts of lightning frying people ... and who sent them to do that... that and I love the colder temperature here. "

By this point in the conversation, the two had walked all the way to the Coffee Shop only to find that it had closed three hours ago. Ciarda frowned, "Figures." She mumbled with a sigh.

"Well, you'd tend to find that coffee shops aren't in demand at 1 AM"
