She shrugged, "I don't know of anything that's open at 1 a.m. I'm hardly ever awake."

Colin jogged down the street. For once he had managed to escape Dame. That was a challenge in and of itself. Unfortunately, he wasn't watching where he was going and he plowed right into Ciarda.

She had just turned away from the door and was ready to suggest that they walk towards the park when a young man collided with her and she fell to the ground, with the young man on top of her.
She barely avodied cracking her skull on the sidewalk with a rush of confusion overwhelmed her, she was more surprised than anything, so she knew at once that they had come into skin on skin contact. Her eyes wide, she stared up at the young man, "Erm...hello?" She was now so very confused.

"Uh... 'Ello?" Colin's eyes were wide. Quickly he rolled off her, but didn't bother to stand up. That was odd. Usually he didn't run into people, but then again, he didn't usually run from Dame. "Ye' alrigh'?"

Before even thinking of a reply, Ciarda checked herself, making sure her purse was still slung over her shoulder and clasped shut. The last thing she needed tonight was another attempted mugging. Seeing that everything was in order she looked over to the new commer, obviously flustered.
She nodded, "I think so. You?"

"Yeah..." Colin heaved himself up off the ground and dusted his hands on his pants. He held a hand out to help Ciarda up.

She sat up and stared at his hand for a moment before finally taking it. What she felt this time was far from confusion, it was an emotion she couldn't place, but that didn't scare her. It didn't seem like a bad thing. With his help, she pulled herself to her feet and quickly let go of his hand.
"Thank you." She said quietly.

"Noh, proablem," he said with a smile. He glanced at Sean and gave him a brief wink that might have been a bit too cocky for comfort.

Ciarda raised an eyebrow when he winked at Sean. This guy sure was weird. But that accent of his was easy to place. He was most definitely Irish, and cocky at that.
"Got something in your eye?" She asked with mock curiosity.

"Nah," he said shaking his head briefly. He looked at her with his innocent blue eyes. "Ah was jes' givin' yer boyfrien' 'ere a bit oaf a tease."

Ciarda was caught off guard and her face flushed, "My...boy-OH! No. I just met him. I was going to treat him to a hot choloate for...dealing with some muggers." She suddenly felt shy. She was never shy, just quiet.

"Muggers, eh?" Colin nodded, knowing full well that probably half the muggers in this town were out on their lazy asses because they owed him money.

She nodded, "Yeah, it could have been bad."
"I hope you don't mind me asking, but why were you running?"

"Oh..." he chuckled a little, "I's jes' a frien' oaf mine... won' leave me alone." Colin wasn't sure if he'd consider Dame a friend, but that was the term that fit him best.

"A crazy girlfriend perhaps?" She asked jokingly as she picked a piece of lint off her sleeve.
