Sean stared passively at Colin, there was mild distaste hidden behind his eyes, and not even very well.

"Noa' so much," Colin said, looking ever so slightly puzzled as to why the man standing near him had such a displeased look on his face. He continued to speak to Ciarda, "'Ee's more oaf a chil'hood friend oaf mine tha' won' leave me alone."

Ciarda almost kicked herself. She was standing here making small talk with a man she had no idea who he was. Well, she was always one to take initiative.
"Oh, how rude of me. My name is Ciarda O'Byrne." She said as she shyly held out her hand.

"Colin McGregor," he shook her hand, a bright smile on his face as he spoke the only words anyone could really understand without adapting to his accent.

Ciarda shook his hand briskly and briefly. Some find her ways rude, but it was the only way she would willingly make contact with another. Had to be brief or not at all. She hoped that this Colin didn't mind.

That was odd, but Colin didn't pause to think about the brevity of her handshake for very long. He did however think about speaking to the other man, but decided he didn't want to. Chicks were far more interesting. "Ye new 'roun' 'ere?"

"Sort of. Only been here a month or so. Is it that obvious?" She was afraid she was letting up and letting her accent slip slightly. She hated when that happened. She took notice how Colin was putting forth a deal of effort to ignore Sean, and Sean didn't seem to have taken too kindly to Colin.

(Hope you don't mind if I join Ciarda, but Stalker was fine with it. Plus, new people to rp with! Yay! ^^) Damien was nearely silent as he walked up behind Colin and gave the woman a critical glance. He seemed to be seizing her up and deciding how he wanted to treat her. With a sudden smirk he bowed slightly and without moving from his spot he mimed taking her hand and giving it a kiss.

Damien rubbed his cheek and gave Colin a pout along with a wounded expression that managed to make his eyes look even bigger. "The land of miniature stoves."

"Oh God..." Colin rolled his eyes. Why? Why did this always have to happen? His attention turned back to Ciarda, "This woul' be thae craezy girl frien'"

Ciarda stood there, slightly dumbfounded, but that only lasted a second.
"You didn't have to hit him." Ciarda said quietly. She was never one for violence. The expression on the new commer's face reminded her of a scolded child, even though he was far too old to be a child.
"Hello. I'm Ciarda." She said with a smile to Damien. She didn't want to seem rude, even if Colin seemed slightly ditressed at his 'girlfriend's' arival.

Ciarda gave Colin a look, "It doesn't seem that way. He's pouting. Besides, you can't teach anyone anything by hitting them." She said as she crossed her arms over her chest.
"If violence solved everything, instead of saying 'You didn't have to hit him' I could have just hit you. Would that have solved anything?"

Colin didn't know quite how to respond to that. The majority of his life the general rule had been 'You hit me, I hit you back.' That was the high quality education one recieved in Irish gangs. But, this was the first time anyone had pointed out the overall ineffectiveness of it. This was also the first time a girl had suggested hitting him (at least in a non-sexual way). He didn't know what to say. "Weill... um."
